DIY Robot Car 🚙
Couple months ago I discovered Adabox, which is a subscription box for makers.
I purchased Adabox 002, which is a project to built a robot car.
What I loved about Adabox is that the box came with everything you need to complete the project with online instructions. For a beginner like myself, I need someone to tell what I need to purchase and what I need to do to with the hardwares.
Robot Car — V1
My first tacking this project, I was able to assemble the robot car and got some of the test code running. Adabox’s website gave me easy to follow instructions and ready to go code with lots of documentations.
Robot Car — V2
Second part of the project was to download Adafruit app and controlling the robot car with an app. I had some difficulty controlling the car with bluetooth at the beginning. I couldn’t see the control pad after connecting to Bluetooth. After leaving the project alone for couple weeks, I was able to get this section working as well.
Sometimes it helps to walk away from the project!
Overall, this was a great learning experience.
I am currently trying to save money so I can subscribe to Adabox!
