Q:What are the mentorship programs in your area for Women In Tech?

We often hear that it is really important to have a mentor to grow our careers. I have been both a mentor and mentee and have found both valuable and rewarding.

However, the hardest part is actually finding that mentor has time to work with you and is a good fit. As a result many tech communities have mentorship programs that help connect mentors and mentees.

For example I have participated in a local Waterloo Region “Women In Tech Mentorship Program” as a mentor and have found it very rewarding.
