Children are naturally curious about how the world works. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) provide kids with a tangible way to make sense of the world. However, this industry is still overwhelmingly dominated by men. Women only earn 35 percent of the available STEM undergraduate degrees, despite earning over half of all undergraduate degrees.
The STEM industry must reflect the diversity of our world. To ensure everyone is represented, we have to educate all children about STEM and give them the confidence to pursue this field. …
